Payout Schedule

Winning hands in Baccarat depend on the hand you bet on, and whether that hand wins. If the hand you bet on wins, the payout is as follows:   Hand Combination Payout Banker's Hand Wins 2x the bet - 5% commission on winnings for the House Player's Hand Wins 2x the bet Tie 8x the bet If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. If you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.

Baccarat Hands

The winning hand is the one with a value closest to nine. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the total of the cards. The card values are: Card Face Value (Any Suit) Card Point Value King 0 Queen 0 Jack 0 10 0 9 9 8 8 7 7 6 6 5 5 4 4 3 3 2 2 Ace 1 If the total of a hand exceeds nine, the value of the hand is the "unit" portion of the total. For more information, see the examples below. If the hand you bet on wins, you are paid out according to the Payout Schedule. Examples: A hand consists of an eight of clubs and a seven of diamonds. The point values are eight and seven, so the total of the hand is 8 + 7 = 15. As the "tens" portion of the total is ignored, the value of the hand is five. A hand consists of a nine of spades, a two of hearts and a nine of diamonds. The point values are nine, two and nine, so the total of the hand is 9 + 2 + 9 = 20. As the "tens" portion of the total is ignored, the value of the hand is zero.

Playing Baccarat

To play a game of Baccarat, do the following: Click the Increase (+) or Decrease (-) button to select the amount you want to bet. Select the hand you want to bet on. Click the Banker button to bet on the Banker's hand. Click the Player button to bet on the Player's hand. Click the Tie button to bet on the Banker and the Player's hands being a tie. Your bet is placed on the table and each hand is dealt either two or three cards. Any winnings are paid according to the Payout Schedule.

Rules

The following rules apply when playing Baccarat:   If you bet on the Banker's hand, and the hand wins, you pay a 5% commission to the House. King's, Queen's, Jack's and Ten's have no point value. If the hands tie, and you did not bet on a Tie, your bet is returned to you.

Screen Features

Credit box Displays your current credit balance.   Bet box Displays your total bet amount. This is automatically deducted from your credit balance. Bet On box Displays what hand you bet on - the Banker, Player, or a Tie. Win box Displays the credits you were paid for your last win. This is automatically added to your credit balance.
